MANNING AGREEMENT
This Manning Agreement is made and entered into as of [Date], by and between:

WHEREAS:

2. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MANNING AGENCY
The Manning Agency shall:
- Recruit, select, and provide qualified seafarers as per the Principal’s requirements.
- Ensure that all seafarers possess the necessary certificates, licenses, and training in accordance with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW).
- Conduct medical examinations and background checks on seafarers before deployment.
- Arrange for the signing of employment contracts between the seafarers and the Principal.
- Ensure proper documentation and visa processing where required.
3. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRINCIPAL
The Principal shall:
- Provide the Manning Agency with the specific requirements for seafarers, including ranks, qualifications, and experience.
- Pay wages and benefits to seafarers as per the agreed terms and international maritime regulations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards onboard the vessel.
- Cover all costs related to crew repatriation, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide adequate insurance coverage for seafarers, including medical and accident insurance.
4. SELECTION AND EMPLOYMENT
- The seafarers shall be employed under individual contracts in compliance with the laws of the Principal’s country and applicable international regulations.
- The duration of the contract shall be as specified in the employment contract but shall not exceed the limits prescribed under international maritime conventions.
5. COMPENSATION AND PAYMENTS
- The Principal shall pay the Manning Agency a service fee for each seafarer provided, as agreed upon in a separate schedule.
- The Manning Agency shall not deduct any fees from the seafarers’ wages unless permitted by applicable labor laws.
6. TERMINATION
This Agreement may be terminated under the following conditions:
